I hope someone has some help for this. I am a newbie to RC, have electronics training and have built custom computers so have some background experience that should be helpful. My problem is with a tricopter. I am using a kk2 board with 1.6. I am sure I have everything hooked up properly and have tested all voltages. Everything on the board works fine as far as menus, self leveling, etc. I have kk2 set to tricopter, and motor layout looks fine.
My problem is after binding my receiver to my radio, hooked up to jumpers all goes well, flashing to solid light. have tried this with 3 different receivers. No input of any control surfaces register on the kk2. I have the throttle at zero, all switches at zero. But no input when attempting throttle pass through, can not take kk2 off safe so of course motors do not run. I was sure the radio was bad and sent it back to Horizon Hobby. They tested and said everything on the radio is working as it is supposed to.
Any suggestions on this would be welcome. I am at a dead end. Voltages are normal on the esc's and the jumper voltages are all equal. I have tried binding with one of the esc's and then connecting the jumpers, and with all jumpers connected to the receiver. Binding goes fine both ways.
Baffled in Albuquerque. Thanks in advance for any advice. Steve
