Throttle curve problem

Corsair015

CORSAIRSFOREVER
Hi, my brother has recently bought a 250 sized quad with a naze32 rev6 DOF6, it is all set up and ready to go. Except for one problem, the motors cant decide what throttle setting to stay on!

He advances throttle to about 1/4 and three of the motors slow down and stop (same at full) and one (at 3/4 and below) goes full rpm with no way to idle it.

We cant find out what is wrong, and everything we know how to do is useless.

I think that is the flight controller trying to level the craft while it is sitting on the ground but when it can't, it increases the throttle in a attempt to level it.

Try a quick take off and see if it flies.

If you are on the testbench with no props on it's normal. The controller try's to compensate smal angle deviations. Because not flying and no props the motors spins to max rpm. If you want to check without flying and props, hold the copter with your hands. PROPS OFF! And move the copter to see how the motors react. If seems ok. Try to hover.

Wake up! Time to fly!
Easiest way to know if it is safe to fly and working properly is to hold the quad in your hand with out the props on. Then arm the motors and give just a hair throttle. Then tilt the quad to each corner. The low motor should speed up. If that happens and motor directions are correct you can put props on and test hover.

Before you do anything in the air just arm the quad and use pitch and roll gently to make sure the quad tilts in the proper direction on the ground. If so then it will be fine to take off.
