Unable to get DX6I and Spektrum AR400 to show up in CleanFlight Receiver Tab

I have recently scratch built a 600mm quad and am using a NAZE32 Rev6 Full flight controller with a Spektrum AR400 receiver binded successfully to a Spektrum DX6I. I have flashed the flight controller to the latest version. I can control all motors through Cleanflight, but I cannot get any of the channels to show activity at all. I have tried every imaginable combination of settings, but get zip. What am I doing wrong? I have a Eachine IA6 radio with a compatible receiver on order to see it that will work, but know it has to be something simple. Does the flight controller have to be armed in order for the channels to show movement in Cleanflight? Bewildered and confused here. HELP!

The FC does not need to be armed, the Tx/Rx is what does the arming ;)

How are you connecting the Rx to the Naze? What settings are you using? Post a couple of pictures of the connections and a CLI dump or screenshots of the receiver tab in Cleanflight.

Having trouble setting up my quad

I just finished building my quad and am now setting it up in betaflight. I'm using a Naze32 rev6 with a spectrum quad race serial receiver and a dx6i. I need to configure it so all the channels endpoints are 1000 to 2000. The problem is that they started so far away from those endpoints that when I try to get them closer in the travel adjustment menu on my transmitter they max out at 1053 and 1947. The transmitter won't let me edit the travel adjustment above 125%..... What's should I do!? Thanks

You want to be playing with subtrim, not travel adjustment.

Current Settings

In the PORTS section I have UART2 setup as SERIAL_RX. In the RECEIVER section, I have selected TAER1234 with RSSI channels disabled. For receiver mode, I have selected RX_PARALLEL_PWM with receiver provider as Spektrum1024. I will mention that I have tried every combination of settings here and get no response at all. I have attached an image of how I have the receiver hooked to the NAZE. This is my first attempt at building a quad and I feel like I am so close, although with all the trouble I have had, I have learned a lot in the process. If I can get this problem figured out I will be delighted as can be.

Looks like you have the cables plugged into the Rx backwards, the signal pin is towards the inside of the Rx, ground is on the outside. The legend is printed under BND/DAT.

Edit: Because you're using a PWM Rx, you do not need to set up a UART or Serial Rx Provider, those are required for Serial Rx's only.

Realized the wiring being incorrect after taking pic. Receiver is binding, but still
not getting any activity in cleanflight receiver using settings you recommended.
Close to giving up on this project as have spent over a week on this one issue.
Thank you for your help.

Now Just Getting Response from AUX 1 for YAW

All wire correct now on Spektrum AR400 receiver. UART1 only is checked. TAER1234 receiver checked and RSSI channel disabled. RX_PARALLEL_PWM checked and have tried both SPEKTRUM1024 AND 2048. Is there a radio setting on the DX6I that needs to be set? Stumped and confused as I am a newbie at all this.

Is the Rx getting power? The USB will power the board, but the Rx requires the battery to be plugged in.

Changed Flight Controller Board and Different Fight Control Setup Software

I replaced the NAZE32 with a RipaFire FPV CC3D Open Source Flight Controller 32 Bits Processor Openpilot. I also used LibrePilot software with a setup wizard that stepped me through the entire process. SUCCESS! I did find LibrePilot to be much easier for a newbie like myself. I am still using the Spektrum AR400 receiver and the DX6I radio. All works great now.
