Wanted: 6 CH basic radio

I'm brand new to the hobby and on a very tight budget. I've been doing some reading and it looks like the Flysky FS-T6 or something similar will do what I need.

I'd like to try regular 3/4 CH planes as well as wings that require elevons controls.

I've seen the FS-T6 on e bay for under $60 but I'm hesitant to order directly from China.

Does anyone have an old radio (with receiver) that would be comparable?

I'm in Canada

The FS-T6 has been replaced by the i6 so don't get a FS-T6 new unless it's a very good deal. You can get the i6 branded as Turnigy from the HobbyKing US warehouse. It's mostly much better and well worth the small amount extra.

I say mostly because the T6 had a menu selection roller and is a bit bigger and more serious looking so the i6 look and feel is not quite as good but it's much lighter and performs better.

You can get it from a Canadian supplier if that is a concern. I found this one. Just pointing out not recommending.

I'm sure there are others.

If you prefer the used route then the FlySky T6 is ok although you could probably do better. There are lots of other good choices.
