Combat Wars, I was late getting to the party and missed the 2 first rounds but till got 7 kills . 1 1/2 planes destroyed .

Actually they all head to 00 lat 00 long to be with all the DJI phantoms people did not initialize their gps properly on.

Thats the easiest way to find them. Stand at the place you lost signal and face 00 lat and 00 long and start walking youll find your air craft.

This is the new S2, not the S+ so it doesn’t come with a GPS! I’m gonna set up flaps on it soon, so my landings have been pretty long so far😂

Had enough light to run a battery through the P-40 tonight when I got done mowing. Set up how the FT guys did it in the build vid it flies well enough but rolls like a pig, gonna have to fix that.

Yes. the vector nose has a little crush on it. Nosed it in once when I lost orientation. It takes a beating and keeps on flying! Another reason I love these models

Dude, the extra is GORGEOUS!!! You need to come watch me fly it sometime! Probably not the maiden since I'll do that in the morning as soon as my battery comes, but probably in the evening! I think the battery might come tomorrow - I'll let you know.

Well I got a new headset with DVR, took my A tail Pusher FPV build out to the "nearby" [first reasonable one outside the no fly zone] and put it up. It seems there was quite a bit of turbulence rolling through the park today (flying at the airfield I could actually let go of the sticks... not today)

Looks like you might want to up your Roll expo quite a bit until you are more a custom to FPV in a fixed wing.

Judging by the video quality with the light processing I would say you went with an AIO set up for onboard video huh. I stopped using them after trying the first one because of poor light management. You see how dark even subtle shaded areas get and how long it takes to adapt when transitioning in and out of bright sun to dark to bright again.

You DONT want to be flying too low or close to hard objects when that happens. Its very disorienting and greatly increases the probability of crashing on a day with bright sun and rolling clouds.
