I have a 1:24 rc car but it can't really do much before the wheels bind

@AircPirateNinsei , thank you for the suggestion. I disconnected the engine and measured the current at the worst condition: the wheels blocked. It is around 9A. So I think a 10A ESC should be enough (maybe better 20A).
I've chosen this ESC:

which have brake too and this servo, having the same size of existing (but is an universal 3 wires insteald of 5).

Dear All, finally I made the modification to the HS 18311:

Oil Suspensions (no more bouncings!)

You have to fill them with oil before use

Remote with receiver (you can set maximum speed and steering angle)
You can choose another model, but this is excellent for the price, imho

ESC - Motor driver
You can use any brushed model with at least 15A, but this is cheap and very common (also on Amazon)

Connectors

JST 2P connectors (male and female) to replace the connector on the ESC and use the same battery

Metal Differential upgrade

Replace the original plastic differential which wears in few hours and becomes useless.

have only a little problem: you have to reuse the plastic collar and ball bearing of original differential but have to adapt it a little with some sandpaper.

I know, I spent a lot of money but it is funny to make this car completely different from the original and much much much more enjoyable!!

In case you need some details on assembling the components, please ask, but youtube is full of stuff about rc.
