Adams water resistant foam board and paint?

Ok, so my first build and after much paint and tape etc. I find the paint i'm using, even after a few tests, doesn't stick to the foam board! before i go any further into damnation, any idea's to defeat the wax coating?

I was testing some painting on the FT water resistant foam and I tried sanded and non sanded before priming. The primer I used seems to bond well in either case. It does however cover better with finish paint on a primered and re-sanded side as per normal paint procedure.

Thanks, that will help in the future. the plane was beaten up badly on it's first flight...or crash as it were. LOL got great FPV video thou!

Well, even thou the original paint work went to hell, i decided to still throw some industrial light and magic into the plane. this is my first R/C plane and having never worked with water resistant foam board before, it didn't go too terrible. so thought i'd share some of the work. Pardon the plane paint job. but did much better with the 3d printed parts.
