@Mr. Gandalf, here is a slightly more powerful motor, for an equivalent or better price! It's what was in FT's power pack f before they went to the radials.

It rocks really good for a little quad motor, I have it spinning a 6X3 TGS prop with a 40A esc on 4SWOW!! That's a lot of thrust!

No that is my heavy weight setup, very similar to what is going into the one Sab KR84 as my 4S setup. Trust me on the smaller lightweight planes you will love it.

For now I think I'll go with the cheaper motor that whackflyer suggested, but I will definitely remember that motor if I build one of John Overstreet's BDF jets!

Oh now thaaaaaat's pretty. A while ago someone at my flying club built a 424 pylon racer in the shape of a Bugatti like that. Didn't win anything with it but it was a heck of a lot better looking than the usual stuff you see.
If you have access to one, maybe try 3d printing a spinner if you can't find one that's the correct diameter?

The workshop is too empty and the bank account is too full... time for that to change, and I drew up a set of plans just to make that happen
I previously built a foam prototype of this with a few changes which some of you may have seen but now it's time for the real deal. The small drawing in the upper right is what both airplanes are based on though this one is an almost exact 3x sized version of it (the previous one being 2x and having differences such as slightly reverse swept wings and no T-tail) Balsa and nitro! And with the amount of other projects I have going at the moment, it ought to be float flying season by the time it's done...

Well I cut out the wings for my bushwhacker tonight. I ended up with two right sides😂
