Yes, flaperons are in a different position on the plane but the control logic is the same. You want the aileron channel to move each side opposite direction and the flap channel to move each side the same direction. Same as a Vtail. The rudder channel, each side moves opposite, the elevator channel, each side moves the same. My point was a V-tail mixer, see post #7, will operate the flaperon application in exactly the same way as the traditional V-tail application.....Flaperons are something different.
If your Tx or stabilizer can’t or will not do what you want. Use a Vtail mixer, it will work well in a flaperon or elevon or differential thrust application, just as it does in a Vtail application.
