Beebrain not connecting or flashing- please help

I recently bought a Newbeedrone Acrobee kit, and I took the beebrain fc to plug into betaflight. I would not connect or automatically recognize the board like my 5 inch quad. I had a similar problem with a naze32 a while back, and I just bought a different fc. For my whoop build, im just gonna use the beebrain. Im trying to use mac, and installed the cp210x driver, but not the stm usb vcp driver- it only works on windows. Does anyone know how to get the board connected? Ive tried 3 different usb cables

the driver fixer tool doesnt work because im on mac. i tried to and it said windows aplications cant be opened
