The Supermarine Spitfire, made by Durafly (a Hobby King brand), is a beautiful warbird that is just plain fun to watch as it flies by! Josh Bixler talks about the retractable landing gear, durable construction and scale appearance while Josh Scott gets a little stick time. Don't miss this episode of Flite Test or all of your RC buddies will make fun of you.

Please note: You need a 6CH RX or a servo reverser to get the landing gear to work properly.

*Note: This model has a wingspan of 1.4m, it is noticeably larger than a normal foam plane. Due to the Spitfires elliptical wing it has a tendency to tipstall, however Durafly designers have created the model with 2 degrees of wing-tip washout to help prevent this phenomenon.

I appreciate it when Josh Scott gets stick time. Josh Bixler has been doing this so long, it is not possible for him to fully understand what a newbie does not yet know. If Josh Scott can't fly it, I surely will not be able to fly it. As Josh Scott gets more experience, you will need to find another FliteTest newbie.

You have a great project going on. I am having a blast building these planes.
