Electronics Compatibility HELP!!

Hey everyone, I recently bought a battery and ESC. However, I realized they didn't fit together so I got an EC3 Female to T-Plug adapter. The T-Plug part of the plug fit but the other part didn't. Does anyone know how to match adapters, batteries, and ESCs? More specifically, does anyone know of an adapter that would fit the parts I have? I have attached the Amazon links to the products I bought. Thanks!

It’ll take a little bit of pressure, but the EC3 will fit into the XT-60 plug. If you want you can shave off a little of the plastic casing on the round side of the EC3 plug to make it easier to slide on.

@The Hangar is correct, but also you should know that your adapter is EC3 to Deans, but your battery or esc (whichever one has the yellow connector) has an XT-60. A lot of connectors have the connector name on the side if you look closely, so if you need to get another adapter at some time you should check that to make sure you have the right one.

Good advise above.

Learning curve of this hobby battery connectors kinda sucks. Most will finally decide on what type of connector they want to use then watch what ever they buy matches what they have. Me I settled on using XT60`s

I agree with @Bricks, life is much easier if all of your battery connectors are the same. Pick one connector and stick with it.

I’m also a big fan of the xt60.
