Ailerons I am trying something different. It is folded FB but from the TE, wedge cut like normal and then peeled off the inner paper and ironed it tapered on both sides to the TE. It did warp the FB but once folded it came back straight. Will see once the glue is cured and if that looks good then I just need to sand the LE square and glue on the balsa triangle strip. It feels super rigid and it will still get the iron on covering . The on pic where it's fitted to the wing it looks curved at the TE, is that just the angle of the cam or did you build it that way

Where did you get the arrow shafts from? Every time I go to CT they always say they are out or its not the season.

The ones I have are 7.6mm? x 790mm

I would have to do some digging, I brought them in to do that DLG with Bracesport and when ever I did that will be my first search

Found them, it was out of Ali and it was $20.00 CA for 12 delivered. Just looked them out and they don't have that one anymore but this will give you a start. Oh, coming from China so who knows, 3 weeks 10 weeks ??????

Quick search looks like $30.00 to $40.00 CA for about the same arrow .

Well skinned the left wing top half, I think this wing will be slick. I still need to print a little tray that will go between two ribs to mount the servo onto and once that and the servo are inplace then the bottom can get skinned. Ailerons I think will work also so I added the balsa strips to the LE, really rigid as is and with the balsa and then the covering they should be really strong.

Well right wing now has it's top skin. Also cut the hinge slots into the ailerons and balsa strips that are for on the wings and then covered the ailerons. We do have a few wrinkles

Well I glued the hinges into the ailerons, I am at a standstill with the wing until the high torque servos show up which should be next week. Almost now forced into designing the rest of the plane .

FB isn't quite perfect and with the glossy white finish it shows off even better plus I have a few "my" wrinkles in it also We will see how this covering stays stuck to paper, I did do the covering in one piece so it overlaps onto itself to make sure it stays in one piece .
