Here's the plank P-47 and U-2

Hello EZ group! I just flipped through all 15 pages of posts. I really enjoyed everything. I've done the EZ 3 pack (ended up only using the plank, it's the boss!) and, for better or worse, 4 scratch builds of my own: a modified EZ plank that looks like a P47, a 24" span U-2 (which I still have & it flies great) a Corsair with full skins which flies OK, and most recently, a mashup between the Corsair and the Flerken. I flew the latter one today, and it was a successful tragedy. It flew great, very stable, but almost no handling (I think I had the props too close together, between the rudder and the fuselage on Each side, kind of reminded me of a beechcraft starship look back there). It got caught in the wind and I fought, but I lost it across a highway into dense woods. Photo shows the Flerksair prior to installing the system. I'd like to buy several flight packs, do you think FT store is my best option?

The FT Store is a good place to get them, but they're out of stock a lot of the time.

You are generally going to want a further back COG with a bigger wingspan.

F-16 Issues resolved - flies beautifully.

Finally got around to spending some more time with my NerdnicRC design F16, and after peeling off the paper, adding some up elevator, and a slightly larger battery (350 mAH vs 300 mAH - not sure of this makes a difference), she flies like a dream. AUW is 44g, and she floats around easily at a bit over half-throttle. I'm not sure of the CG is a bit off, or there is too much elevator, but she does tend to fly a bit nose up. The cool part of this is when I give full throttle she goes straight up and makes a small loop .

Below is a short video I made. Apologies for the low quality video and sound (and portrait mode), but I wanted my wife to get a quick video shot with my phone before the sun went down.

all of them are pretty easy fo rbegginners, that is the whole point of the ez pack. I would say start with the bronco

I think the FT EZ 3 First Flyers MKR2 is where to start with the EZ controller pack.

If you are looking for a recommendation from the list, the Smaller FT EZ Glider looks like a good beginner (in the video anyway, I've not personally tried it.)
<EDIT> I see this was done with the 3 cha version... Might not work as well for 2 cha (std. kit)</EDIT>

I've had a bunch of fun with the Snow Skimmers, I decided to make a Foamboard version for those who want a template. The design is still in Beta phase, but it does skoot along flat snow and even nicely indoors.
