Help! EZ Power Pack v.2 Questions

Hello FliteTest Community,
Anyone know what size the EZ Power Pack v.2 props are? I was thinking about trying to design a super light airliner (foam with paper removed formers inside and paper covering, kinda like a balsa build) and flying it off of the EZ Pack. Also, if anyone has any experience with this type of project, I would be happy to recieve any advice. :)

No, but I will be getting a EZ style power pack due to there being not enough power for my recent build (see resources)

What you have to watch is the weight. As you approach 60 grams, it will not not fly very well. Reason, most likely you will be at full power and it is not possible to make a turn due to no differential. Many models fly real well in the 30-45 gram range.

Also, I would purchase/build a general model to learn how to fly it if you are not familiar with the V2 EZ pack.

Thanks for the advice! I'll keep that in mind.

Oh, and also, is the weight mentioned in your post all-up weight (airframe + electronics) or airframe-only weight?

I think these are the props!
And I think these are good replacement motors.

Here is a good replacement battery!
You would have to change the plug.

I thnk those are a bit bigger than the ones on the EZ Pack v.2, but they probably would still work. I'm not an expert on this stuff though. :)

I would suggest you stay with the setup of motors, props, and FC designed for the EZ setup. Substituting other prop/ motors/battery leads is messing with the original intention of giving you a plane that probably won't fly. Could even fry the FC.

For instance, those LDARC props are not setup for different directions. Different battery and leads probably will probably weigh more(first of all were can you get additional male and female leads that small and let's see if you can solder) and will cut the weight of plane since the heavy you are(60 grams), it will fly poorly or not at all.

Those props are ccw and cw.
I think you are right on the sizes though, its just flite test charges quite a bit more for the product + shipping
