I was wondering which power pack I should buy, the v1 or v2.
and how much flight time do you guys have? 5min?
And would I be able to fly in a indoor basketball court?
Any advice?
thanks

The V 2 has a little more power than the V1 but is functionally identical. With high rate enabled, you should be able to fly in any but the smallest basketball courts/gymnasiums. The airframe is going to have a lot to do with that. Choose one that is more floaty than aerobatic. The EZ Space package has a couple very floaty designs and one that's more sporty. https://store.flitetest.com/project-ez-space-flite/ I'm pretty sure all those plans are available for scratch builds as well.

Curious where you found the EZ v1 available? I'd like one because it has a servo channel built in that the V2 doesn't have.

The v1 was only 2 channel with LED plugs like the v2. There was also a 3ch pack that came with a servo. The 3ch packs were received by accident and were sold until they were out of stock.

They only sell the V2.
I would suggest to fly indoors get one of the FT nature pack(leave the squirrel till last) that is real floaty.

After you can fly, you also can use it outdoors and have a ball. If fact, you can design your own and see if it flies. Latest I did was the B2 version.

Thank you guys for input!
how about flight time?
Flight time can vary, it is really a function of design and the weight.
If you push over 60 grams for your weight, start over.
Here is a flock of 6 that flies

Favorite in winds is the delta. It has a 22 degree dihedral, rolling it back to a horizontal position with gusty winds. Like a trainer.
