Help! Flite Test Firewalls

So I've noticed that there are multiple versions of firewalls that Flite Test has.

Version 2

Version 3

Version 4

Can someone please tell me the difference between these? I've tried building a handful of models and I never know which firewall to use. I also want to 3d print these instead of buying them, so where can I find the STL files for them?

There are two sizes of FT power pods; the "Swappable" series and the "Mighty Mini" series. The swappable series use bigger motors whereas the mighty minis were designed around the smaller drone motors. The Vinyl/Fiberglass firewalls are interchangeable with the plywood variety of the same size.
TLDR: V1 and V2 are interchangeable. V3 and V4 are interchangeable.

Thanks. So my first plane was the Tiny tutor. I bought the speed build kit. I kept the firewall it came with for my next build, the Tiny Trainer, only to find it was too wide. They are both mighty minis; am I missing something here?

Hmm. I don't know, theoretically they should be interchangeable. The store listing even says "you may have noticed recent speed build kits now include vinyl firewalls in place of the wooden ones" The kits are otherwise unchanged.

Anyone else have some light to shed on this dilemma?

Yeah, the power pod for the mighty mini is slightly slimmer than the power pod I made with the Tiny Tutor SBK. Maybe a quarter inch on both sides

Looking at the photo for the mini Tutor in the store, I see the 2 guide holes for the BBQ skewer at the top of the firewall. This suggests to me that the mini Tutor uses the swappable size firewall.

You're right! I'm re-watching the build video, and that definitely looks like the swappable size firewall. I didn't know they ever used that with the the mini powerpacks.

Hi Everyone,

Here is a little info. Also a source for a stl file to print mid size firewall.

I believe the Goblin uses the swappable firewall as well. Although not a "mini" per se, it uses the F pack size motor.

Remember that there is the FT Elements Firewall too.
