FT Aura Lite 5 install challenges

I installed the FT Aura Lite 5 in a scratch built Simple Scout. Everything seemed good until I tried auto launch. The ailerons went crazy in auto launch and locked up. In Josh's videos he has it mounted so he could reach from the top down to the Aura. I mounted mine on the underside and had to flip the airplane over to access it. Once I relocated the board so I could also press the buttons from above and not change the orientation of the plane everything was fine. Is that how it is suppose to be installed? If so I missed that in the videos.

Board orientation is critical for it to know which way is up and forward. If you flip the board over without reconfiguring it, things will not go well. Normally the buttons should be on the top of the plane and toward the back.

The aura thought the plane was upsidedown and tried to flip it and I guess it just went crazy cuz it doesn't like being launched upsidedown.

If you have a Windows system around, you can install the Aura config tool to change the orientation and verify the setup.
