FT Long EZ was my first build and flight. I mashed it against lots of things and finally had a "sudden unintended disassembly" against the barn. Now that I learned to fly with the tiny trainer and others I took another shot at the Long EZ. I'm glad I did! It's an easy build and a hoot to fly. I've found two main weaknesses - the vertical fins are fragile (especially with me flying) and the wings want to bend up. For the fins I've installed a couple of plastic stir sticks and on the wings I ran monofilament fishing line from the bottom wing tips and through the lower fuselage. Worked like a champ and now more durable for my nooby landings.
