Whether you have an axe to grind against the AMA or not, at least someone stood up to the FAA or we would all be using Remote ID or be criminals. It is possible, but unlikely, that someone in the government will realize this is a ridiculous rule as well as a huge waste of time and money and rescind it. For a while people could not consume alcohol or smoke marijuana but now you have the right to drink or smoke, BUT you are still responsible for your actions. So let's everybody fly responsibly and perhaps this, too, will pass.
