Getting CG Right

Just finished my FT Corsair build and Im wondering about the centre of gravity. In the image below youll see that Ive added 4 AA batteries for ballast, can I get any tips here on a better method?

This Corsair is really tail heavy and the 3300mah battery is set as far forward as I can get it.

On several of the regular series planes, I have lengthened the nose. Not sure how that would work on a master series plane.

I flew my Corsair maiden flight on Sunday. Very tail heavy. The plane is made from Adams (Dollar Tree) foam. I'd like to know if your battery weights worked? I have added 1 oz. of lead in the same location hoping it will not be too heavy to fly.
Thanks
