GMRS Two Radios

Hi Guys. I have three GMRS/FRS radios I can bring/lend out and my Ham hand-held (not lending that out but will use on my shifts). Question is; are we using GMRS radios? Would it benefit if we did? I know others have mentioned bringing radios.


Please advise - I'll be more than happy to bring them and lend them out ( three available)

I too have a HAM radio that I can use myself. Do we know yet what frequencies we'll be on? I would REALLY like to program it before i leave Missouri. It can be a pain sometimes.

The word I hear is Austin has bought some handheld (probably FRS) radios for volunteers. I'm bringing my GMRS/FRS radios as well, but leaving my HAM radio at home (don't want to program it, and deal with all the batteries/chargers, etc) I have a small sedan, and it's a struggle to fit two FT planes in it!

I saw some rumor that they bought several Baofeng 440mhz HTs.
