Hello guys,

I have trouble with my KK 2.1.5 Board from hobbyking, I probably made the wrong connections and now I can see the led screen only to light up and nothing else to happen, probably is f** burned up. Is there any complete tutorial to show me how I must make the connections? How I am going to connect right my cables from my speed controllers and my channels from my receiver? I searched online and I did not came to any complete video that Explains everything. As a beginner I am having trouble on how I am going to connect everything up.

If I want to test my board from where I must give power ? Can I give it from the right side (H1,H2,...) or not? If I give it from the left side then my board is burned?
How I can provide as Input Voltage: 4.8-6.0V, when I am using a 4S battery that gives me 14 VOLTS?
Do I need only to connect the cables from the speed controllers so I can provide power on my board?
Can I connect my receiver with my battery and then with a servo cable direct to give power on my board or not?

If there is a complete tutorial with a diagram or video on how to make it right for a tricopter will be the answer optimal.

Thanks in Advance!

Hey Serjio, not sure if you have figured it out yet but I can try to help. Your 4s (14v) battery powers all three esc. The Bec in the esc puts out 4.5-6v through the servo lead. The board is powered by your #1 motor (front left motor) esc going to the upper right pins. Without a motor connected, give it a try and it should come on and initialize. If the the light comes on but nothing on the screen, the screen may be bad or the ribbon has a bad connection. They do sell the screens separately because I know a few people have had to replace them. When you get that working or replaced, you can hook up esc #2 and #3(front right) but take a pin or needle and remove the red wire from one of the servo leads and fold it back on itself and tape or heat shrink it so as not to short anything. This is done so that esc 2+3 are not trying to balance each others voltage and mess things up. If red wires are removed on both then you won't have power for your servo. Lastly, plug in the servo in slot #4.

The left side is the receiver side and starting at the top goes in the order of 1. aileron 2. Elevator 3. Throttle 4. Rudder 5. Aux/autolevel.
It is preferable to have the front motors counter rotating but it can fly with all three going the same direction.
Make sure to set every thing up including the transmitter and test the tricopter without the props on! I can't stress this enough.
