Looking good so far. I feel your pain on drying glue. I'm a yellow wood glue builder myself, it allows for a much nicer build.

I find that I take more time fitting things with yellow glue. With CA I tend to "zap" it in place. Also, I read an article that said that CA is 6 times heavier than Alphatic resin.
