Hi, new guy with a question about the FT Flyer

So I just finished building a FT flyer and I have not maiden it yet.
I am wondering if I should add downthrust to the Flyer because I read that some have done it.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

It can help a little but honestly I have yet to do it. Oh and welcome to the group!!!!!

I built several strictly according to the plans, and they all fly beautifully. Because you can always add a washer or 2 to the upper screws of the motor mount, it's easy to start off with the "stock" plans and then experiment with different variations.
