If you want RTF and have the $$, Horizon Hobby all the way. Just finished painting my Carbon Cub and got a chance to really see the design. Very nice design, flies very well. Might be a little much as a trainer but very doable.

These guys aren't gonna start making real money until they release a true RTF...and drop those shipping prices...

Shipping at Horizon is free on orders over $100, I believe. Amazon is free if you're a prime member. It's an old way of making some money, over-charge for shipping. Just a little shocked.

The new guy, starting out with nothing and not wanting to spend a fortune, will almost always go for a recommended RTF from a reputable online retailer. The FT guys say they want to bring in the new guy at an affordable price but don't offer an RTF. For someone who's never built, the building process can be daunting. Maybe they don't have the time or physical dexterity to get it right.

I say sell an RTF with the exact same plane in build-able form. When the new guy "learns" on the RTF and destroys it, he's got a new one waiting to be built. That would crush.

I have been a Hobbyking person all my life. They have all the items you need for making aircraft, that is situated in Australia, and they have some pretty good pnf planes there. As far as im aware, the hobbies direct planes are quite expensive.
