Thrust tube should be poster board, not foam board. So no peeling paper there.
Has anyone tried a 64mm EDF in this airframe yet? I've got a spare 64 laying around that needs a new home.
Haven’t tried it myself, but it should be ok if you keep it light!
Got delayed a few days here due to weather caused power outages and I couldnt build...
In spite of all that, my 64mm A-4 is done, lol. Tried to keep it light, flying weight w/ a 2300 4S is 874 grams. No great way to measure thrust here, but it is definitely a little less, I'm guessing around 725g based on the feel of it.
Hopefully she flys well. Going to have to wait for the weather before I can maiden though.

Plans UPDATE!
Latest plans are v11 and they are HERE! I updated the resource page as well, but I’m not sure it took right, and I can’t seem to update the version number from my phone so I wanted to post the latest plans right here in the thread as well.
One main change: the thrust tube is FOAMBOARD! It attaches directly to the EDF and the inlet/nacelle pieces attach to the thrust tube at the back - the square fuselage section at the rear is GONE. See the attached pictures. Let me know if you have any questions.
