Foam parts are all cut out along with the 2 plywood spars.

Assembly of the spar. Because of the shape of the wing and to keep the airfoil symmetrical I am assembling it right onto the lower wingplate. There are slight bends to it right by the inner part of where the nacelles will be. Normally if it was flat it would be done on it's own. Center foam spar glued in first , then with spray adhesive the front plywood spar followed with the front foam one and then the same to the rear. First time doing it this way and seems to be working great.

Ok tape is of the frame and wing, looks not to bad. An after thought gave me a little repair to do, I put a 375mm length of 3mm cf strip into the top wing plates on the outer portion to help strengthen the tip of it. If I hadn't done the spar I would put it in the lower wing but to late for that. Anyways when I folded it (upper wing 1st one) it cracked slightly, the other side I put masking tape over that area and no problem then. Sanded the leading edge, don't like the 2 layer of foam showing and glued on some triangular balsa strips and once the glue has cured I can sand it to a nice round edge.

Next is to put together the nacelles and canopy and after that all the scoring on the fuse has to be done and hopefully it fits. ;)

Well nacelles and canopy are together :). Then comes the fuse. :) Dry fitted first and all looks good. This was one big glue, have a ton of tape strips ready and a fresh bottle of glue. ;) Glued all the tapered parts of the fuse first creating a shell , then started gluing all joints and surfaces from front to back of the plane , the fuse slid on and start taping in place. Went rather well but I did have glue everywhere and stupid masking tape sticks really good to your fingers if there is glue on them. :D

It's looking good.(y)

I have never used depron to build an aircraft yet. I do like the idea of filling and sanding the finished product easily though.

The good Depron is no longer, you might still be able to get the Aero Depron maybe even Grey Depron but I don't like them near as much. manufacturer cancelled it because he was to busy and RC Foam in the US was the exclusive distributor so needless to say they closed their doors this last year. The stuff I am using now is Fli-Power Value XPS foam which is about the same as the MPF foam you can get. Little rougher surface but it bends and is fairly rigid so I am happy with it.

Wedge filling is now done and just have to wait for the glue to cure to trim and sand. I really don't like doing it but not only cosmetically it looks better but the strength is probably doubled :).

Servo, control horns are in. Let that cure and next rods. Elevator surfaces are wired together so only one servo required . Getting closer. :)
