Did the same at the St. Louis Microcenter. After a few weeks the $99 Ender 3 Pro was modified:
4.2.7 silent board around $40. Worth twice the price only the fans can be heard and that's no big deal.
Ender 3 V2 screen upgrade kit about $45. Really lets you dig deep into the printer if you have the right firmware.
Mrisoc firmware for Ender 3 (https://github.com/mriscoc/Ender3V2S1) No cost but worth a lot. Gives mesh leveling and a number of features not available on base Creality firmware and is still being supported.
