I've never heard of this one, but there is something really pretty about this long distance special. That tubular fuselage would look great as a Master Series, and I'd love to make one, so put up plans if you make one.

Saw it pop up today on a Czech facebook page:

Looks relaxing and elegant, maybe not for everyone, especially if your flying style is along the lines of a push-me-pull-you F-82 ;)

Hey that's a darn good looking plane. I keep thinking I want to look into the Japanese warplanes more.

The 288 won, don’t think I’ll do anything that you guys suggested, for now….. but I think I am going to do the 288, I’ll make an update later on the final decision later once I start really thinking how it will build. should I make a new thread for the build once I decide, or keep this one? (Let me know please :) )

I'll do a little video on the next project that I do, shouldn't be too long a wait, I'm at a build a week right now LOL!
All I can say is .....It is about dog gone time that U make a video. Your work with vinyl is absolutely stunning and I am sure there is a huge following that would like to see what U do in action.

Here is a crazy idea for a twin engine trainer. How about taking something that is easy to fly, like an Aeronca 7AC Champ, and put two motors on it. Don't laugh, it was actually done. I remember back in the 80's when I was looking for an inexpensive Mult Engine Land rating, I found an add for a 500.00 USD weekend course. This was their trainer. I decided to save up some more and later went with the Piper Seminole.

[Update]
Got foam and started getting measurements for build. No plans but will post progress overtime, and maybe will have pictures of al of the measurements when done.

Still doing the 288? That looks like a really ambitious build, especially with all the windows, interested to see how you interpret and accomplish that. Best of luck to you for sure(y)

Thanks, haven’t even thought about the cockpit too much, marking it semi modular so I can try different designs. And btw the wingspan is ~2.6 m. That’s 3 sheets of foam!

Whoa! That's a big one, Definitely wishing ya luck. Your thread kind of made me look at doing another twin engine, not that big LOL but I decided on the DH-88 Black Magic with a 50 inch wingspan, had to keep it smaller than my P-38 as I can just fit that into my car with some degree of difficulty. Assembling wings tonight , fuse is done
