This is the current mock up for the F14. Wing span extended is 72"

With wings folded and nose off, it will be same size as F18.

John, you are doing amazing things with foam board. Keep up the great work.

I am sure its been asked already, but...

Any chance of releasing a ~48 inch span T-28 in the future? The one on your wall on page 4 or 5 of this thread (MS Mustang size) would be a blast flying around my back yard.

The T-6 TexanII looks really fun. Any chance of plans or SBK release?

5 years ago I began building RC planes. The 2nd plane I made was an F14. It always has and always be my all time favorite.

Over the last 5 years I have revisited the F14 a number of times. It had been about two years since my previous attempt.

I had decidided I didnt want to tackle it until I could nail some of the more complex lines. With some of the recent foam shaping discoveries. I decided it was time onne again😁

Today, I got the current prototype up in the air. I could not be happier.

The maiden flight was perfect. It is very floaty for a jet. it flew for a full 5 minutes.

It was very gentle with the wings out and was very stable with the wings in.

With the light wing loading, it could easily cruise around at 30-40% throttle.

Here are some highights and some pics of earlier versions over the years(including the big metal one)😁😁

Super stoked about this release. Stephen has come with a number of graphic sets including the TGM Rogue Nation livery. Additionally, he has come up with the ultimate T shirt, I can't wait to get these printed.

Check out the pics and vid of this beast😁😁

John. I really believe that this is your greatest accomplishment to date! I just cannot wait to build this plane and show it off around our RC club and everywhere else. I speak about you guys to everybody almost everyday. I am your greatest fan. Keep up the incredible work and I just cannot wait to add this one to my FT fleet!!!

She is an absolute beauty! The F14 was the aircraft of my childhood. Love what you have created here.

I note that all your jet designs are without any landing gear. Is there a particular reason for that?
