RThis is the current mock up for the F14. Wing span extended is 72"
With wings folded and nose off, it will be same size as F18. View attachment 229139 View attachment 229140 View attachment 229141 View attachment 229142 View attachment 229143 View attachment 229144 View attachment 229145 View attachment 229146

I will do a T28 at some point.John, you are doing amazing things with foam board. Keep up the great work.
I am sure its been asked already, but...
Any chance of releasing a ~48 inch span T-28 in the future? The one on your wall on page 4 or 5 of this thread (MS Mustang size) would be a blast flying around my back yard.
The T-6 TexanII looks really fun. Any chance of plans or SBK release?
Hope that gets released soon! I could really use one in my hangarVery close to having this up in the air. Just need to make a couple tweaks.

She is an absolute beauty! The F14 was the aircraft of my childhood. 5 years ago I began building RC planes. The 2nd plane I made was an F14. It always has and always be my all time favorite.
Over the last 5 years I have revisited the F14 a number of times. It had been about two years since my previous attempt.
I had decidided I didnt want to tackle it until I could nail some of the more complex lines. With some of the recent foam shaping discoveries. I decided it was time onne again😁
Today, I got the current prototype up in the air. I could not be happier.
The maiden flight was perfect. It is very floaty for a jet. it flew for a full 5 minutes.
It was very gentle with the wings out and was very stable with the wings in.
With the light wing loading, it could easily cruise around at 30-40% throttle.
Here are some highights and some pics of earlier versions over the years(including the big metal one)😁😁
Super stoked about this release. Stephen has come with a number of graphic sets including the TGM Rogue Nation livery. Additionally, he has come up with the ultimate T shirt, I can't wait to get these printed.
Check out the pics and vid of this beast😁😁
