The true Number 1: FT Goblin with Dihedral Wing mod. (I call it the FT Orca) IT FLIES LIKE A DREAM. It handles wind like a pro.

Be sure to give it some down thrust. I started flying mine within 850 3S battery and have now changed to an 800 2S and still get 6+ minutes flights.

I’m actually running a 2824 (I think turnigy motor) with a 7x6 or 8x6 prop. And I’m adding fold over wings.

Sorry, no pics yet, just been busy building it, I’ve got the fuse done and already mounted the middle wing.

If I post plans for wings, you’re just gonna have to use your better judgement and your knife to get it all to work.

Also, even though it’s a fold over wing, no spars. It just folds into shape and gets the leading and trailing edges glued.

Logical answer:
It was the first plane after the tiny trainer that I got to fly well. It's an easy build and has a ton of cool color schemes.

Real answer:
It's an uncurable mental disorder. I've always liked the triplane, even as a kid. It makes me grin when it turns toward me and I see the three wings and I want to duck because I know it's going to strafe me. Watch "The Great Waldo Pepper".
