I do not have plans but yes, I sanded the lower skin down. I've tried sanding both the upper and lower skins for an even thinner trailing edge but its a lot of work, it gets damaged easily and theres no visible aerodynamic advantage.

Many thanks. From what I see the hard work pays of. I destroyed a similar shaped balsa wing last year and am considering replacing it with a foam board wing.

It certainly looks better then the standard FT wing. Foam is great in terms of survivabillity. If you think you're gonna crash again I think a foam replacement is a good idea. Balsa looks better though.
