Clash of the Titans - B2 - round one.

I did a few flights with the BAMFzilla and the B2 this morning - I had the B2 with 30g of ballast on board so I was mistaken in the videos saying it was 60g!

Nevertheless here is the video of the BAMFzilla's first spring outing - there was still a bit too much wind but the temperature is a wee bit warmer now - I think I need to do more trimming when I fly, but I was happy with the results with the time I had available..

Clash of the Titans - B2 - round one winner.

The B2 was the winner of the first round with a 4min run - the best I could get with the BAMFzilla was just shy of 3mins - maybe the extra 30g of ballast in the B2 was best on the day.

I think the launches with the ballast was a tad more consistent above 40m however I have had the B2 without ballast to 50m.

We shall see with round two..

Way much harder to thermal on windy days. Full size add water ballast which erodes the L/D a bit but penetrates much better.

4minutes off a hand throw? Very impressive for windy. Plus you're bringing them back RTF.

Happy New Year..

My first flight of the year - it has been a while, so I was hoping I still remembered how to do it!
It was a bit breezy, but that seems to be the norm!!
