Solved Need Slicing Help

you should talk to who ever is helping you with your modeling program and ask how to do a solidify operation.
Unfortunately we have a teacher who doesn't know anything about CAD. It's called interest so everyone does a project which only needs to be approved by the teacher and another staff.

Yes, the top part of that hole will be a large bridge. It's nearly impossible for a FDM printer to do a curved bridge line like that. Supports on something like this will likely be difficult to remove and probably have as much filament in them as the rest of the piece. You can also emboss the surface with the cutaway space and print it solid and cut it out later.
So how thick would you make the cut away part?

You will need to play with the settings and how they work with your printer. Here's a quick sample (In Fusion360):
I created an ellipse and thin extruded it with a thickness of 0.4mm. I drew offset rectangles in a perpendicular sketch and then extruded that box onto the surface of the elliptical tube.

Play around with the thicknesses so your slicer will detect the thin walls. Also, you may need to chamfer the underside to avoid bridging. Here was a quick slice of this object in Prusaslicer:

Good luck!
