NEED SOME ESC AND MOTOR HELP FOR MY BLOODY BARON (USING POWER PACK B)

I just ordered the flite test power pack B, I got all the electronics hooked up just fine with a lemon rx receiver but the motor is not working for some reason there are no esc beeps. I checked to make sure all the electronics are plunged into the correct channel and that the battery is working (note I did not use the recommended battery for this test. I tried the battery that came with the hobby zone conscendo and a 25c 11.1volt 2200mah lipo) I really need help getting this to work

Do you have any other planes from which you can borrow bits for testing purposes?

First thing to do is to ensure that the receiver is properly bound and that the light is on.
Check to see if the servos move to control input on the transmitter.
Plug the motor into another plane, (no prop fitted of course), and see if it works at all.
Try ESC with another motor, (no prop), to see it the ESC is functional.

Just post your results and I will give suggestions from there.
