New guy and Aura board

Hello all, I'm a long time balsa and monokote model flyer but new to foam board stuff, So far I've built the Tutor and the Simple Stick and the next in line is the Legacy V2 twin. I bought an Aura board for the Legacy and was messing around with it on the bench with this receiver Spektrum SRXL2 DSMX Serial Micro Receiver, SPM4650 but I can't get it to do much of anything. When I press the bind and trims buttons while powering up it won't go into the blue flashing lights mode it just flashes red green and blue rapidly and doesn't bind to the receiver or go into any programming mode. Any suggestions as to what I'm doing wrong?

Not real familiar with the Aura but did you bind the receiver first so you are sure it works? All your connections soldered correctly? I believe the Aura does not care or really get bound as long as the receiver is bound.

You will have to do some reprograming either the transmitter or the Aura as the Aura AETR and the receiver is TAER.

What are you using for a transmitter?
