Very nice! That's a darn P-40 Warhawk all the way!Just got spinner today... really finishes the plane off true!
That looks really good boss!I FORGOT to take the pictures when adding the Great Stuff Spray Foam! I applied it before folding the Wing Halves together (OBVIOUSLY), from the Spar to the Leading Edge.
The idea is to have a Wing that I can't CRUSH, and to give more impact resistance!! ๐

One thing I wish I would have done is add the flaps. I will next standard I do. Probably either the corsair or the mustang.I FORGOT to take the pictures when adding the Great Stuff Spray Foam! I applied it before folding the Wing Halves together (OBVIOUSLY), from the Spar to the Leading Edge.

Yeah actually. I'm thinking about drilling straight through, doing the signature triple vein intake... The rest will be the same......Good job with the air scoop buddy, thinking outside the box. Is there any way you could use the air scoop to your advantage to help cool the ESC or something, make it functional?
By process of elimination I figured it to be attributed to the master Rx in the same compartment as the rest of the electronics. I did have a satellite Rx isolated for insurance but it didn't do me any good. I won't be revisiting this one for awhile. My next warbird will be a Master Series, holding out for the Mustang or the SpitfireWow, great work guys. I don't know what happened, seemed to miss 10 days worth of this thread. Great looking planes @Salmonslaya and @PoorManRC ! Sorry @BATTLEAXE about the crash, did you find the cause of the LOS? V2 coming?
Thanks! And thank you also for the help!! A couple of your ideas have gone into mine so far. ๐๐Wow, great work guys. I don't know what happened, seemed to miss 10 days worth of this thread. Aw that sucks man. I was hoping to see you fly. What about the Scout you built for your son, has that flown yet?Almost done with the Intake Scoop! Maybe DONE, cause I'm a bit worried about weight (Tubby Cubby still haunts!)

It didn't add a TON of weight... but I do worry. 5 more Grams - MORE than the Spray Foam, Paint Sticks and extra Paper I added to the Wing!!!
At least it's in the Nose... ๐
BIGGER PROBLEM, I was planning on reusing the Motor from the Cub....
Well, the vicious Noseplant BENT the Motor!!! ๐ ๐ญ๐ข
I've got no money for another C Pack sized Motor...
So it's turning out to be a static model for a while.

I got some old balsa nobler kit - was built the crashed then given to me. Iโve been recycling parts such as control surface hinges on my ft-22 and the landing gear.Oh and @PoorManRC, I found out what the Nobler is that your canopy was made for. Here is a link: http://www.outerzone.co.uk/plan_details.asp?ID=377
When did you get it? It might still be under warranty... I called up the ft store and got a free replacement about 10 months after I purchased mine.BIGGER PROBLEM, I was planning on reusing the Motor from the Cub....

That's right I seen that in a couple of their FT vids, talking about how they backed up their motors for durability. Try that, call them up and see what they say, might get a new one, plane will fly! When did you get it? It might still be under warranty...
