The hobbyking strip is also capable of changing modes from the TX. I assigned it to the bind button which makes it super quick and easy to switch modes.

Yep, that’s how I have it hooked in. I set mine to a 2 way switch on my transmitter, which is right by my rates switch on the left side of the radio. Since I’m flying a wing, I can mostly fly with the right hand and don’t have to sweat if I take my left hand off the controls to flip rates or the light switch. But that’s what works for me, ergonomically and with that plane; I might set it up differently if it were say, a Timber or an Edge 540. 😁

Wow, this looks really cool. i may purchase one, but wont have time to do it before Saturday at this point. I will have to keep it simple for this year's night fly!
