I had a similar experience testing my SeaRey. Luckily that was only an ankle-deep puddle!
It's a little tricky to tell, but it looks like you had a crosswind from your right. Any reason you chose to land towards yourself in a crosswind rather than left-to-right into the wind?
I find it's a lot easier to judge approach angle from the side too.
