Power connector for the Arduino

Will the red (positive) be soldered from the inside? As far as I can see the black (negative) is soldered from the outside. I don't want to take risks because I don't have electricity or electronic information. I would appreciate it if experienced friends answer.

Yes, the center of a barrel connector is the positive and the outside is negative. Also the barrel connector is the hot side (supply’s the power)

Not 100% sure what the question is. As described in the linked video the red positive wire is soldered to the center tab and the black negative wire is soldered to the outer tab. Doesn't matter where on the tab you solder. Just be sure to wrap the tabs in electricians tape to make sure they don't short against each other.
