Receiver for FT Spitfire Swappable

Hi folks,

Just been to Dollar Tree for the foam board and I'm excited to build this.

Congrats on the build video - it is very well done.

Although I already have a Spektrum DX6i 6 Channel DSMX Radio, I'm a total beginner at flying and at scratch builds

I plan on sending off for the LazerToyz.com electronic package.

Can someone please recommend a receiver (I'm in the US, by the way).

If you can wait (or pay a little more for swiss post) the OrangeRX 615x's work well, are full DSMX and cost ~$10 shipped.

Also if you can wait, you can pick up 5 for $25 + shipping of the LemonRX's which I've heard nothig but good about, but they're only DSM2.

I've tried the DSM2 RX's from Value Hobby, and while I like almost everything else I've bought from them, DO NOT trust those RX's. I've been shot down too many times when other DSM2 RX's performed splendidly. For the price, there are other alternitives.

Not sure if they have them any longer, but Grayson Hobbies was selling a low end Spektrum 6 ch for $20. Great shop, and if they're still selling those, it's a good price . . . but other than offical Horizon Hobby support and not dealing with HK (that's important to some people), you'll actually get less than what the OrangeRX 615x will give you.
