Red Bull Flugtag Design Challenge Contest Rules and Info!

How to qualify for selection :​ Subscribe to the Flite Test Emailing list. Create an account on www.flitetest.com Design the aircraft that YOU would submit for contention in the RED BULL FLUGTAG based on the design parameters set forth by Flite Test: Must be able to be flown RC with either a Flite Test EZ power pack or a Power Pack A. Aircraft must be designed around the tagline of “The Ultimate Slow Flyer” MUST be designed out of common materials, including Foamboard (Adams Readi Board, Flite Test Foam, etc.) Flite Test has the right to use any submitted designs to grow the world of flight as we see fit. (e.g. manufacturing kits, distributing plans etc.) Designs submitted must have the ability to be sent digitally to Flite Test upon request for internal testing as needed. Create an Article on the Articles section on Flite Test’s website showcasing your design: Must have a well written article (click here for example) outlining the inspiration and reasons behind your craft design Title of the article must start with “Flugtag 2023 Design Challenge - …” There must be pictures showcasing design elements and fully finished design. There must be video evidence of the craft flying in real life. Judging: Applicants will be judged on the following criteria: Flight Performance of design Design Creativity How well the journey is documented (Pictures, Videos and written content) Contest schedule: The design Challenge will commence on May 1st and continue through July 31st 2023 Flite Test will review test designs submitted by the applicants throughout July 2023. Winners will be announced by the early August 2023 and those chosen will meet up with Flite Test at the designated Jump location for Red Bull Air Force Skydive (In Ohio - TBD). Winners are responsible for getting to jump site, etc.

Apologies for the heavy delay in response: We were working somethings out internally and are still trying to finalize a time/date for the prize winners Skydive Jump with Red bull Airforce!
That being said we are pleased to announce that our winners for the Flugtag Contest are as follows:
