is short for Kline-Fogelman, the two guys who did the study on the wing design.

the KF wing is awesome, a tiny little wind vortex forms in that gap where it steps down, so air will move on top of it instead of gettting sucked into the little gap. so what the air sees is a airfoil shape, but with nearly zero friction where that vortex is.

what did you have to do for weight to get CG right? pics?

man i really want to spring for the EZ pack now.

noice.

what change did you have to add to the nose to get it to balance? im printing off the plans and should have one build this weekend, might have a better understanding of where it needs to balance out to make a bill of materials.

Can you make a B-17 chuck glider?

I still exist and I'm still looking for a PBY model to build. Conveniently the EZ Pack is almost perfectly tailored to this purpose, now I just need to get one and fiddle around with an airframe.
