Last night was a great night for a maiden. It was a little overcast and a little chilly but there was hardly a breath of wind. Took it down to the field and she flew! I have some adjustments I need to make. She seemed to want to pull to the right a lot so it took a lot to keep it under control. I think that the ailerons may be warped or twisted a bit so I will need to try to straighten that out. Also I may need to try something with the CG as the battery needed to go very far forward that caused the battery tray to break on landing. Other than that she came back in one piece so I would call this a successful maiden!
My son was filming so the video is a little shaky and when in the air it looks like a dot as I had it so far up for mistakes. This was the first time I was rendering a video in a editing software so it came out with really low quality. When I get home from work tonight I will try to render it with a better quality.
