That looked good. Except for the end. I know what that feels like. Good maiden overall. Finally got to maiden the spitfire tonight, maiden flight went great. what a nice plane to fly.
Great maiden flight. It looked like you had no problems at all.Maiden up!
Now it's on to paint.
The link @CarolineTyler provided are pretty accurate (thanks for the scale BTW!)
There are a LOT of variations on the Spitfire (I think they got up to 21?...) just find a image you like and go with that.
Nope, she flew like a dream! (Spitfire isn't my favorite, but I gotta say, I am warming up to this one.)Great maiden flight. It looked like you had no problems at all.
Great maiden Mayan.Spoiler . Yeah it's up just been playing around with my DGA-6 build so didn't find time to write up about it . But since you are subscribed to my channel you got to know about it before every one else . So with a lot of honor I present to you my maiden, enjoy .
BeautifulHaving built this one as a hybrid FT/FB 3D printed beast, I can see a good path to a masters style build!

ouch that hurts.something very strange happened to me, the plane turns to the right and on the second attempt it has died
I will build it again without gun glue and with white foam that weighs less to see if it is under 860gr
Should we give an angle of thrust?

Nice details, you got the mirror on the top of the canopy. Looking sharp buddyThanks for the kind words. Everything is together but the installation of the electronics. Only the wing servos are fitted. Spinner/prop are dummies for the pics. I have a 3 blade set on order. Going to try to maiden next Saturday. Thanks for the inspiration in getting this build done. It was starting to lag and this thread really perked up my enthusiasm! Thanks! Here are some current shots of my Battle of Britain FT Spitfire for your viewing pleasure.

I feel your pain brother. I’m sitting at the airport now. The next two weeks I’ll get NOTHING done either as I’m out of town on business too. Had to spend yesterday putting in a gate for the backyard, our chickens are apparently escape artists. 🙄I have a busy couple of weeks till the end of Sept, so I can not imagine achieving much from now!

If you had a thrust angle on it you probably shouldn't have. Thrust angles should be very very light, half of my scratch builds that fly great don't even have them. Hope your rebuild goes well!something very strange happened to me, the plane turns to the right and on the second attempt it has died
