Stealthily building an F117 community designed plane

Decided to cut a new top deck, the original one had become too creased in my test fitting and learning to look decent. I only had some heavy UK foam board which is white.
Fitted top deck last night using clear gorilla glue which allows 'wiggle room'.


Working through getting the cheek panels fitted tight, needs some custom tweaking. Slowly, slowly catchy monkey

Nearly done....

Final items to complete are add control horns, cut and mount hatch, and position the receiver and battery. Think I can balance it with a 4S 3500 LIPO

All finished....too windy to spray paint it at the moment.

A drop of the matt black really brings it together. Need to do the underside and then try and work out how to create some decals...

Ok - made up some sort of decals and using gold metalised candy wrappers, I think the cockpit looks pretty good!!!

OMG, U just never know what one will find on these forums. Candy Wrappers! I have a bunch of those somewhere in the pantry. I never, in a million years, would have thought about using them. It looks absolutely fantastic. Actually, that entire bird U got there looks great.

U just gave me an idea. Build a plane so stealthy that my wife can't see how much I spent on it.
