Substitute a 2205 1050kv for a recommended NTM 28-26 800kv?

I'm building this Fokker D-VII, designer/builder recommended a NTM 28-26 800kv, the closest I can find is a FT Radial 2205 1050kv. From what I have just learned they have the same size stator, it is just the difference in 800 vs 1050kv. I can't seem to find something close to the recommended size...

Thoughts on using to 1050kv?

Seems it's 31mm long instead of 26mm

Thank you for that! I think it might be a better choice than going with my 1050kv.
