Wade,
I see so many tragic situations in kids' lives as a teacher. Right now, I'm having a hard time being positive and its difficult to be focused and creative in class. I can't seem to win lately, on many fronts. Its frustrating.

My really good friend was a high school history teacher in Blacksburg VA and he said that it got so bad, he quit and joined the military. I am an instructor in the military and it is bad here too. I will never say that it is as bad as the kids and the civilian world but I know it must be hard. Just remember the way that this country has been ran into the ground, you are really all that is left to help the new generation. You do a good thing for the nation and I applaud you.
