Versa Wing with Leds in the wing

This is my first attempt using Hobbykings – 9 Mode Multi Colour/Multi Function LED strip with Control Unit

Build went well, no real problems other than the sticker (backing tape) not sticking to the spar all that well. Had to use hot glue.

I've purchase a few of these and plan to put another (couple) in a FT Storch that I started building last week.

Just noticed that the power pod is positioned backwards. (just sitting there)
Can't wait to madien this plane. Nervous cause I've never flown a wing.

Looks great. I've wanted to do LEDs but as usual, I over thunk it. (redneck slang)
I am buying LED Strips and controllers from Banggood.com to wrap my house, in place of ole' Christmas lights.

I guess I read 12v input meant 12v, not 11.2v. Geez...
Thanks for the eBay link. It was the light bulb...
